“I’ll be there” is a song written by Mac Miller featuring Phonte where he explains his love and appreciation for his mother. When the song first starts off with the hook of the song which is “Sunshine or rain, I'll be there for the good times or bad, I'll be there Sunshine or rain, I'll be there For the good times or bad, I'll be there”. Here Mac is explaining that no matter what he will always be there for his mother. Within the first half of the song he begins to describe his younger life and all the things his mom did for him like having Jordan shoes as a young kid, his own room and a tv in the living room to watch his cartoons. Then he proceeds to say that when he becomes rich, he will have her living the way she deserves with no stress and no worries. As the song progresses, he is older and explains how his mom started crying because of the way he’s expressing his love for her.
